The Experience

Indian Wedding Photography is known for its bright beautiful colors and exquisite details. Our style of photography is made for the bright flashy colors in an Indian wedding. Seth and Beth are experts at using the off-camera flash which intensifies the bright, gorgeous colors of an Indian wedding even more. We are not a light and airy photographer that washes out the color of the photos. We love focusing on the color and brightness of life, flowers and weddings.

Our years of experience with the different types of Indian Wedding ceremonies have allowed us to gain the knowledge to be one of the premier Indian wedding photographers in Ohio and nationwide.  We are so blessed to have been a part of some of the most lavishing Indian weddings in Columbus, Cleveland and throughout Ohio.

What to Expect

An important part of many of the rituals of the Indian wedding ceremony are the details in each part of the ceremonies. We are well educated on what to look for and the importance of capturing each and every one of the details. Every detail of an Indian Wedding is so important. So much time is put into putting outfits and venues together so we make sure to capture every part of it!

Attire

The bride wears a Lehenga – a long skirt, typically a mix of pink, red, and gold, and is paired with a matching top and scarf, which is later changed into a different Lehenga after the ceremony. The groom wears a Kafni – a shirt that passes knee length, with pants called Pijamos.

To captivate the beautiful attire worn for your big day, we make sure to focus on full length portraits to capture the beautiful bright clothing and close up portraits to capture all of the small details you have put into your outfit.

Bride & Groom Portraits

All of our Indian Brides and Indian Grooms deserve the most epic, stunning portraits to remember themself by on their wedding day. It is important to capture these timeless memories of a bride’s Sari or Lehenga. The beautiful colors that she chose, the pattern and beading that will be talked about forever. We look forward to photographing the beautiful jewelry, red and gold bangles, incredible earrings, gold necklaces, each toe ring and anklet that is worn. As for the groom, his family will always be remembering the Kurta or Sherwani that he wore on his wedding day. Seth and Beth Wedding Photography will make sure that you feel comfortable as we capture your wedding day portraits. This is important, we want you to remember feeling like yourself in the photos, confident and comfortable.

Sangeet Photography

The Sangeet is a night of dancing and music with friends and family. We look forward to photographing the community feel with food and music. This is a great time for guests as they reconnect with friends and family that might not have seen each other in a long time. We look forward to photographing the exciting performances from all of the aunts, uncles and cousins. A Sangeet is the ultimate rehearsal dinner with incredible music.

Baraat Photography

We prepare for the awesome jubilation and joy as the groom enters the wedding as we photograph the Baraat. We always wear ear plugs so we can get as close to the action and be in the heart of the celebration. We are aware of the importance of getting the reactions of the family and friends celebrating the groom. It is so exciting to see what the groom is going to ride in on to the ceremony.

Creative Photography

Entering the creativity portion of the Indian wedding experience in an exciting part of Ohio Indian Wedding Photography. Our Indian wedding couples are full of life and love and it is a true joy to capture their relationship in a creative and unique way. Creativity in photos allow us to use our lighting skills and natural posing.

Indian Ceremony Photography

The colorful ceremonies with the grand entrances are always so exciting. Each Mandap is unique in its own way depending on the colors, flowers, and other decorative materials that the couple chooses to use.

We are looking for key religious moments as we photograph the ceremony. Anticipating the lighting of the fire, throwing of puffed rice, exchanges of moments between the couple and their parents. The key moments of the ceremony are throughout and we are always waiting and anticipating the different parts of the ceremonies at the same time, we are watching for reactions of parents and guests during the ceremony as well.

If given the time, we will document your guests at cocktail hour, laughing with friends and family and enjoying the entertainment. As you are introduced for the first time as husband and wife into the reception, we will be there to capture you and your guests’ reactions as they cheer you both on.

We look forward to and are ready to document the incredible dancing from you, your family and your guests as the drums start playing and the dj begins the enchanting bollywood music.
