This Columbus Indian Fusion Wedding was simply incredible.  They came to us looking for some “out-of-the-box” photographers and we gave them everything we had! Like us (Seth), they are doctors and Tesla owners, so the couple fit was a perfect fit (according to our kids, Geo and Hank). Seth and I have really become specialists at photographing Indian and Indian Fusion weddings and we really love them. Columbus, Ohio is filled with so many wonderful cultures and excelling at Indian wedding photos has allowed us to meet so many interesting people from all over the world. This wedding ended up being featured by Maharani Weddings, which can be seen here.

Their amazing wedding began at Northbank Park for their Sangeet on Friday night. The weather was gorgeous and the guests were loving it. We took full advantage of the beautiful colors of the Indian clothes. as well as the background against the wonderful Columbus skyline. The DJ was DJ Khan from Elite Entertainment. The decorations were done by the amazing B3 Events. The caterer was Creative Cuisine and Saffron Indian Grill. The rentals were from ACC Party Rental. The wedding planner was the amazing Joie de Vivre Events.

The next morning, the Baraat was a resounding success, starting behind the Hilton Downtown and spilling out right into North High Street, across from the Greater Columbus Convention center. We love getting sweaty and dancing with our new friends. Pro photographer tip – photographers need to were earplugs for the Baraat. You’ll spend a ton of time near the front of the dancing and your back will be bombarded with the Bollywood music that’s usually blaring from the DJ van. After the guys and gals got ready, the Indian wedding ceremony commenced in the grand ballroom at the Hilton. After perfect weather all morning, the gods above decided that it should start raining literally as Katie and her father starting walking down the aisle at Goodale Park. We loved the look on Katie’s face as she walked down…come rain or shine, she was determined to marry her love, Viren. They finished their vows under the gazebo with the help of the officiant, Chase Waits of Columbus Wedding Officiants.

They danced the night away to the sounds of laughter and Bollywood. The desserts were from Suisse Shop, the American-style ceremony music was done by the Columbus String Quartet, the florist was Bloomtastic, the food truck was the amazing pizza of Mikey’s Late Night Slice, hair and makeup were done by the wonderful gals of Charles Penzone. Because of the rain, we ended up taking family photos at Franklin Park Conservatory, which was simply incredible.

Like all of our clients, Katie and Viren went home with three stunning wedding albums that we designed together. As always, we get our amazing wedding albums from Blacksmith Albums. We use the help of DVLOP and The Image Salon to edit our images and we cannot live without Fundy Design to build our albums and wall art. As always, visit our website, for more info about Columbus Indian Wedding photography.
