Theater wedding, no problem. Everything a couple will need to know about being married in the Skylight Theater in Newark, Ohio.

Here are 4 wedding tips to help you prepare any theater wedding!

Choose your photographer right! You are going to want to do your research to find a photographer that can handle dark venues. Ask questions about their experience and their gear to find out what experience they have had. Seth and I have spent years mastering the off-camera flash. This has allowed us to learn how to take pictures in all environments. We love using our creativity to create absurd pictures in all environments. Use the angles! Your photographers are going to want to get uptight, photograph wide, be on stage, be on the floor to ensure they are getting all of the angles. Your fearless photographer is going to have to be ok with getting to capture the expressions of the bride and groom throughout the ceremony. Wide shots are important to show off the beautiful venue, your audience, and of course you and your fiance center stage.
Make sure that your photographer is an open communicator. They are going to have to be willing to communicate with the officiant where they will be during the ceremony and where you and your fiance will need to be on the stage for the best lighting.
Check out the theater later in the evening to see what the room will look like during the reception and dancing. Most theaters have a ballroom feel during the reception.
