History of the Cleveland Arcade
The Arcade Cleveland, a beautiful indoor shopping center, opened in downtown Cleveland in 1890. It was the first indoor shopping center in America! This stunning building was formerly known as “Cleveland’s Crystal Palace” and was the first building in the city to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. An incredible $60 million renovation was completed in 2001, transforming it into the breathtaking structure we see today!
