About The Faculty Club at OSU
The Faculty Club Wedding at The Ohio State University is situated on the historic Oval, between Mirror Lake and Orton Hall. The Club has three floors, each with its own unique character. Your guests will enjoy the privacy of the entire building and can relax as the different scenery provides many opportunities for great photos.
The Grand Lounge
The Grand Lounge is the Club’s signature room, perfect for indoor ceremonies or as a backup in case of rain. The room’s luminous ceilings, trimmed with classic crystal chandeliers, create a vintage charm. The staff will transform the Lounge into the perfect after-dinner reception space, with a sensational dance floor of over 1,000 square feet.
Main Dining Room
The Main Dining Room is an elegant space on the top level of the Club, perfect for serving your guests at the beginning of your happily ever after. The Main Dining Room embodies the Club’s rich legacy and tradition, and can easily be customized to complement your personality and taste.
Colleagues and Patio
The Colleagues and Patio area is a contemporary and comfortable space for your cocktail hour. The wraparound patio overlooks the South Oval, providing captivating views and amazing photo opportunities for your guests. Guaranteed to be the best outdoor ceremony space in Columbus, you have to see it for yourself to appreciate its charm.
Getting Ready
Nancy prepared in the getting ready room, a facility provided by The Faculty Room. Surrounded by friends and family, they had a great time getting ready for the big day. While the ladies were getting ready at the venue, Shawn and his groomsmen were getting ready for the day back at home.
The Wedding
Nancy looked radiant in her all-black wedding dress, a unique choice that made her stand out. She and Shawn were surrounded by their loving friends and family as they exchanged vows at the Faculty Club on the campus of The Ohio State University. Shawn’s son was his best man, and his daughter was Nancy’s maid of honor, a truly beautiful moment for the family. The Pagan ceremony was located in the grand lounge and was so beautiful. The reception was a lively and joyous celebration also celebrated in the grand lounge. It was a perfect day for two perfect people to get married.
