The Cleveland Arcade is iconic not only for the beauty of the venue but also for the rich Cleveland history.

History of the Cleveland Arcade:

Located in downtown Cleveland, the beautiful Cleveland Arcade opened back in 1890 and was America’s very first indoor shopping center! This historic building is one of the perfect Cleveland Ohio Small Wedding Venues. It was modeled after the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, Italy. It was designed as an urban mercantile center by designers John M. Eisenmann and George H. Smith. Before the name, The Arcade Cleveland, this stunning building was known as “Cleveland’s Crystal Palace” and the first building in the city to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Over time, the arcade started to go downhill until an astonishing $60-million renovation was in place in 2001 and turned it into the breathtaking building we see today!
